North Coogee is a strategically located landholding of approximately 3,800sqm within the North Coogee Cockburn Coast District Structure Plan area.
The site currently contains improvements of a large factory warehouse occupied by Woolworths for the purposes of processing meats. The long term vision for the site and the overall Cockburn Coast District Structure Plan area is to be a medium density residential subdivision offering all of the amenity of the Cockburn Coast as well as the Coogee and Fremantle localities. The site is envisaged to ultimately accommodate a high quality residential apartment building. The State Government is in the process of rezoning the site from “Industrial” to “Urban”, which will allow this transition to occur.
